Well some sound pretty cool in my opinion, I like the Star ship enterprise kind of sound some of the new ones make, it would been fun to add some fake futuristic noises, like the millennium falcon or X wing for example.
Of course I love the sound of an engine whether its 16V, Vtec, V6, V8, V10, V12, Turbo, he list goes on.
I actually really love driving to my favourite music.
I have a TVR...I might have mentioned that 😁 ...... yes they sound great and sometimes when you might want to unleash the P O W E R !!!! In a Jeremy Clarkson kinda way, and you want to hear the roar of an engine / exhaust you put your foot down on the noise pedal and BOSCH, it's there!!! But..... in the main, I would prefer my favourite tunes, especially when I'm going for a spirited drive. Enjoying my favourite dance music (DnB, House Hardcore etc) driving on my favourite roads getting that great vibe. When I'm chilled maybe a bit of classical or Reggae and just follow that road! I know....what a strange taste of music, what can I say! 😆
Everyone one is going to have an opinion, that's what makes us unique. There is always going to be people not accepting of other cars, or tech or fuel.... That's life!
It might be the green environmental aspect you focus on, the cost saving or you might just want to be a bit different.
